Welcome to Tales By Tom. Ths is the third installment of Knowing Eye.
This new series takes a long look at events in Tom Cagle Sr's life. A view with a knowing eye!
This week two stories:
“Bangkok has many faces” I’d been there before on business and enjoyed the city, but this time I had an experience, saw a face of Bangkok I wish I could forget.
“The Barber Pole” You hardly see them anymore, but Charlie had a special one and it reminded me of an old expression I heard in my youth…”Shave and a haircut six bits.” For those who don’t know, six bits would be 75 cents. Remember? Charlie said he could do it, but I needed to give him a couple days notice---and he’d do it for my price.
I encourage you to provide feedback on these stories or any of the earlier shorts by email at talesbytom@gmail.com or by voicemail at 1 206 339 5456.

See you in two weeks!
