Welcome to Tales By Tom. This is the fourth installment of Tom Cagley Sr's short story collections entitled, “Long Long Ago and Far Away.”
Story 7. The Fallibility of Faust. I feel like this untold story has been with me for my entire adult life. Almost, I say, looking back to the winter of 1955.
Story 8 Transplant and re-transplant. I was a transplant to Baton Rouge from Memphis in 1975. I transplanted my family because of the job. That’s what retailers do. But then we moved to Florida. Eleven years later we moved back. Doesn’t that make me/us a retransplant?
