Welcome to Tales By Tom. This is the sixth installment of Tom Cagley Sr's short story collections entitled, “Windows On THe World.”

How long have you been working? : It’s a fair question to ask an applicant, but where does he or she start with for the answer? I would say it could be a make or break response.
You’ve been there but you’re not: You can be in one place and five minutes away in the same city, the world is coming down on someone. You’re there, so near, but you’re not really.
