Tales by Tom

This podcast showcases the audio stories of Tom Cagley Sr.

Jun 17, 2012

Welcome to Tales By Tom. This is the seventh installment of Tom Cagley Sr's short story collections entitled, “Windows On THe World.”

This week we have two stories

Bonjour Tristesse: It was a first novel of a talented young French girl which was sent to me by a girlfriend in 1955 who’d saddened by my departure. As I read what she wrote inside 57 years, I wonder what happened to Chicago’s Marianne Bykowski.

Sail on! Sail on! I certainly practiced Columbus’ speech enough, then gave it without any hiccups and was rewarded for my birthday with a radio. Which I didn’t see again for a half century.

I encourage you to provide feedback on these stories or any of the earlier shorts by email at talesbytom@gmail.com or by voicemail at 1 206 339 5456.

Check out the podcast http://www.talesbytom.com and on downloadable iTunes at http://bit.ly/yk9BC

The music is a song titled "Rhapsody" by Andy Guthrie and was supplied Music Alley from Mevio (www.musicalley.com).

See you in two weeks!
