Welcome to Tales By Tom. This is the first installment of Tom Cagley Sr's short story collections entitled, “Windows On THe World.”
A wonderful day in the neighborhood: We all get surprised seeing a familiar face totally out of context, for the first time in a few years and not recognizing the face or anything else about her. I hope you reacted better than I did once. I still shudder.
Jet-lag twice: Getting a good night’s rest before going overseas is a must for counteracting the effects of jet-lag. We were ready and pumped. But Continental had other plans for us.
